the hero’s quest invites the audience to follow a queer hero’s quest which is filled with uncertainty, confusion, fluidity and non-progression. It portrays an alternative perception of reality through movement, sound and video editing strategies while mocking the traditional narrative structures and stories of heroism.

Experimentation with uncertainty and confusion both in its content and the formal structure helps to create a queering tool to challenge the viewers’ perception of time, space and body.
